iDumpVideo2iPod

iDumpVideo2iPod is an application designed to help you convert your existing video files and DVD's to a format which can be imported to your iPod or iTunes.

This program has not been tested on 64 bit Windows.

Features:

Source files
Converts from most of the common types of media file for example: wmv, avi, flv, tivo, mpeg and mjpeg, m4v, mp4, mov.

Output format
Converts source files to iPhone or normal iPods keeping file sizes as small as possible.

Easy to use
All complicated settings are done automatically by the application. All you need to do is select source file and where to put the converted file and click start.

Samples
Before conversion, you can select to sample the source. The application will extract a piece of the source video, convert it and then display the results.

Importing
You can import any of the converted files in to iTunes or on to a selected iPod. Check the items you wish to transfer and click on the import button. its that simple.

DVD Ripping
You can copy your collection of home made DVDs. If you wish to backup your collection of purchased DVDs that you obtained from your local store. You will need to install and run a 3rd party program before you use this program to copy the encrypted DVD. Go to the FAQ page on how to obtain this additional tool.

Tags
You can set the file tags and define the video as Video, Podcast or TV Show.

Other information
Due to ever changing methods used by DVD distributers to stop programs like iDumpVideo2iPod from reading a DVD disc, it is not always possible to backup a film. We do our best to try and create work-around but there is no guarantee.

Some conversion programs do not always create files in a good way and iDumpVideo2iPod may take a long time in some rare instances to perform what’s known as "Single Frame analysis mode". If you see this while a conversion is in progress, it may take an extra hour or two to complete the conversion.

You need to make sure your security software allows iDumpVideo2iPod to run unrestricted.  If this program fails to run, please check your security software logs.

iDumpPod2iTunes

This Wizard will ask you some questions before starting to copy tracks and playlists from your chosen iPod to iTunes. This Wizard is designed primarily to help you recover your files back to iTunes after a system crash.

Backup and restore
Backup iTunes database each time you use the program. At anytime, you can restore iTunes database back to a previous version.

Direct iTunes updating
For all supported versions of iTunes, the program will link to the iTunes database directly. This allows for faster updates as it will not start up iTunes. If for some reason it is not able to update the file, it will start up iTunes and copy files in the standard way.

Tracks are double checked and then a report is producted to show any tracks in iTunes which have missing audio files and tells the user if these tracks are still on the iPod or not. This application provides an easy way to backup and restore an entire iPod or selected albums, tracks and playlists.

This program will allow you transfer your songs from your iPod to a PC, iDump does come wrapped in installer but you can simply drop the .exe in the root directory on your iPod and run it from there.

Connect your iPod and run iDump and you'll have access to all your songs, select the songs you want to transfer then pick a destination directory and how you would like your songs to be named. And then sit back and transfer all the selected songs to the PC.

iDumpPro can be used as a streaming MP3 server.  Just drag and drop songs, arrange their play order and then start the service.   Any media streaming client (Windows Media player) or our own free client can receive the music stream.  This allows you to leave your iPod connected to a laptop or PC and then using a client or other hardware, can listen to your music.  You could even have it running on the internet and make your own radio show.
